We recommend flying into Miami International and renting a car for the weekend to explore and have wheels. There are plenty of Ubers should you wish to share a car service once in Key Largo OR even Uber to and from the Airport. It is common for locals to not have cars! Key Largo does not allow golf carts on the highway.

Fort Lauderdale and Key West airports are options as well, just looking at a longer car ride to Key Largo from either.
